For most people, fat acts like the layers of an onion – it doesn’t disappear from a particular area but rather comes off layer by layer from the entire body. While some might see fat reduction first in areas where it appeared most recently (meaning if your tummy was the first to gain fat, it might be the last to lose it), the fundamental truth remains: spot reduction is a myth.
You might achieve a slim face but still carry a little extra around your waist. The most important advice I can give you is this: Once you start losing fat from your body overall, you will automatically find your face slimming down. And no, you don’t need to starve yourself to lose fat! All you need to do is eat the right food in the correct quantity.

Beyond general fat loss, several lifestyle adjustments can significantly impact the appearance of face and neck fat:
Excessive salt leads to water retention, which can make your face and other body parts appear bloated.
Staying well-hydrated is crucial for preventing water retention. When your body isn’t getting enough water regularly, it goes into a defense mechanism, holding onto water, which leads to bloating in your face and other areas. Drink plenty of water throughout the day.
Alcohol dehydrates the body, leading to water retention and subsequent puffiness. Minimizing or avoiding alcohol intake can help your face appear less bloated.
